Jurassic Park

This is one of my all time favourite movies! I can easily see revisiting Jurassic Park in the Future and Designing another poster. This Poster took around 15 Combined Hours to Design and Render.

The Colours are directly inspired from the original poster. So to start the entire background pattern (Dark Area around the subject matter) is entirely comprised of tens of thousands of Gattaca code characters. The shape of the centre subject is loosely based on the shape of the island. I rendered it with the idea that you are looking out from inside a cave ... where they found the Amber containing the DNA. The whole shape is rendered in a Amber like colour to give the feel of the amber they found in the mines. The dinosaur skeleton representing the mosquito that was found in the amber that contained the DNA. I also included a dinosaur footprint to just represent the impact they left ... I also felt it had a similar shape to the island itself. Finally the gate at the bottom being the only structure in the image .. the open door representing the loss of security and the opening of Pandoras Box.

This was not the original design I had conceived but hey .. you never know how things will work or not work out .. isn't that in it self the essence of Chaos Theory!

Hope Everyone Enjoys!

The original size of this poster is 13"x19". Of course credit goes to Michael Crichton and Steven Spielberg and all the Great People who worked on Jurassic Park

Thanks for Looking.

There's so much going on here, yet it comes together rather nicely.
